Black Philanthropy Month is a month-long celebration and renewal of giving to and by African-descended communities.It is no secret that Black led organizations are funded an average of 24% less than those led by their counterparts. Still, these organizations are expected to change the landscape caused by the inequities their communities face.During this month, we look back at the history of giving that has provided for communities.
