MetroMorphosis

Driven to create access for those who have been historically denied it, Sherreta R. Harrison works for social, racial and economic equity at MetroMorphosis, a Baton Rouge- based social enterprise focused on citizen mobilization and collective action. As the Chief Executive Catalyst and one- half of the Intergenerational Co- Leadership team at MetroMorphosis, Sherreta explores the intersection of talent development, organizational leadership, and community building to create environments where people can thrive. Combining her 20 years of non- profit experience with her background in education, workforce training, and mental health, Sherreta designs interventions that build the capacity of organizations while supporting the people that power those organizations. Sherreta is an alumni of the Urban Leadership Development Initiative at MetroMorphosis, Leadership Baton Rouge, and was a member of  the inaugural cohort of CoGenerate’s Gen to Gen Innovation Fellowship. When she is not working, Sherreta spends her free time reading, laughing, and thinking of ways to make the world a more joyful place.
