A native of Gonzales, Louisiana, Darren is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a major in political science. Darren is a member of the Presidential Millennials Scholars Program and Coca-Cola Scholar, which focuses on developing/supporting minority groups throughout their college tenure to better prepare for the events after graduation. Darren’s main goal is to impact the community in a positive light in order to create equal opportunities, better the economy, and change the environment for broken and neglected communities in hopes of having a place where individuals and institutions can be transformed into a thriving community.
